The South Forsyth Equestrian Team competes in the Hunt Seat style of riding. We train out of Eloquence Sport Horse, trainer Ashley Doyle. South's Equestrian Team is a member of the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA); currently competing in Zone 4, Region 11. We compete at all levels, ranging from Beginner Equitation on the Flat (walk/trot) to Varsity Open Equitation over fences 2'6". Our team consists of both a middle school team with riders from from various middle schools that feed into SFHS and a high school team.  For more information on the team guidelines and what it means to be on the team, please read the South Forsyth Equestrian Team Handbook. The SFHS Equestrian team is a Varsity sport and yes, you can earn your varsity letter if on the high school team!
